Ever since the establishment of the 'Prabodhan Goregaon' in 1972, number of ventures have been undertaken by Shri. Subhash Desai, which prominently includes Prabodhan Kridabhavan i.e. Sports Complex. Realizing the wide gap between the sports talent in suburbs and the sports facilities available, Shri. Subhash Desai started Prabodhan Kridabhavan with well equipped and well developed sports ground with facility of quality training in various sports activities. The strive to do something solid and creative in the field of Sports was the basic initiative in the formation of Prabodhan Kridabhavan. The Kridabhavan was inaugurated on the holy occasion of 'Tripuri Paurnima' (Gurunanak Jayanti) i.e. 21st November, 1991 by Hon. Shivsenapramukh Shri. Balasaheb Thackeray. The facilities for which Prabodhan Kridabhavan started were in full fledge from 1st January 1992. Cricket coaching, Table tennis, Caram training, Chess tuitions and so on many games training was started at Prabodhan which is going on till date and has been giving great careers for many students. Yoga Center, Karate Training Center were also couple of activities started in Prabodhan Goregaon's Kridabhavan. This is just the beginning of what Shri. Desai has dreamt for. His eyes are set on bright future, that will lead to even more happenings and achievements, that will set benchmarks for everyone to follow.
