With the induction of the emergency services like Sou Meenatai Thackeray Blood Bank and Mobile Blood Collection Van, which are now well-established, Shri. Subhash Desai realized that many of the emergencies are caused by under-treatment or inadequate treatments.
Hence, with a wish to extend the ambit of Healthcare Services, Shri. Subhash Desai started Prabodhan Medicine Bank by introducing medicines at affordable prices for the poor and the middle class which neither can beg for nor afford to purchase very costly products. Plan is also afoot to reach out to old and the poor lodged in homes with no one to cater to them and supply the medicines for free.
